HC3Dᵀᴹ, Inc. (Helping Caregivers 3D
A Better Life for Caregivers

HC3D, Inc., is a 501c3 organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for family caregivers body, mind, and soul, and expanding Dementia education throughout communities. Founder, Deborah M. Jackson, MDiv never imagined in her wildest dreams that her life would intersect with Alzheimer's and caregiving. Out of the choice to return home and embark on the most challenging season of her life, HC3D emerged.

After eleven years experience as a caregiver, and twenty years in the medical/pharmaceutical business world many things have uniquely come together in order to build an organization uniquely called to influence and impact the quality of caregiver's lives.

Through research and experience, Deborah identified two critical gaps in related to caregiving and Alzheimer's. 1. According to the Family Caregiving Alliance, as of 2016 there are a total of 53 million caregivers in the United States, and <.1% of them are receiving Spiritual and emotional support through their local church (if at all). 2. While research, science, clinical studies, and interventions for Alzheimer's are of top priority, one of the greatest gaps is the need for education, support and care initiatives consistently reaching communities.

The goal of HC3D is to help caregivers improve their quality of life emotionally/mentally, physically, and socio-economically. Additionally, HC3D is committed through training and education to expand Dementia education throughout the community, and with informal and formal caregivers. Creating substantive respite, high quality educational summits, community trainings and professional support resources will remain HC3D's primary mission.
